The Batman trailer was one of the biggest DC FanDome sensations. The anticipated revelation of Robert Pattinson's look as the Batman, and as surprising appearances by Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman and Colin Farrell in a totally different appearance as Penguin, were all it took to drive the internet crazy. But, as we well know, nothing is perfect consensus.Even for those who liked the trailer, it quickly became very obvious that Pattinson's look would be one of the first controversies. Maybe it's the result of the feeling of Spider-Man 3, maybe it's people's resistance to accept the dark style and the eyeliner, but the real thing is that a lot of people came to say that the new Batman is ... emo. But let's face it - he's Batman. He is traumatized, dark, deep and melancholy. The alliance of all this with a younger face could not be much different.
