Hachiko's true story. Chu-ken Hachiko (the faithful dog Hachiko) was born in Odate, Akita Prefecture, Japan in November 1923. In 1924, Hachiko was sent to the home of its future owner, Dr. Eisaburo Ueno, professor at the Agricultural Department at Tokyo UniversityThe story goes that the teacher wished for an Akita for years. But as soon as he received his coveted puppy, he called him Hachi, from which he began to affectionately call him by the nickname Hachiko. It was a kind of 'love at first sight', since, since then, they would become inseparable friends! Professor Ueno lived in Shibuya, a suburb of Tokyo, close to the train station. Thus, as he made the train his daily means of transport to the workplace, it was already part of Hachiko's routine to accompany the owner every morning. They walked all the way home to Shibuya station together. But Hachiko seemed to have an internal clock, and always at 3 pm she returned to the station to meet the teacher, who disembarked from the 4 pm train, to accompany him on the way home.On May 21, 1925, Professor Ueno suffered a stroke during a faculty meeting at the college and died.Hachiko, who at the time was just under two years old. So, at the scheduled time, he waited patiently at the station. That day the wait lasted until dawn.On the night of the funeral, Hachiko, who was in the garden, broke the glass doors of the house and made her way to the room where the body was placed. So he spent the night lying next to his master, refusing to yield.Another account says that, as usual, when the time came to put several objects particularly loved by the deceased in the coffin with the body, Hachiko jumped into it and tried to resist all attempts to remove it.After the teacher died, Ms. Ueno gave Hachiko to some relatives of the one who lived in Asakusa, east of Tokyo. But he ran away several times and went back to the house in Shibuya, a year went by and he still hadn't gotten used to the new house. It was given to the ex-family gardener who had known Hachi since he was a puppy. But Hachiko continued to flee, appearing frequently in his old home. So, after a while, apparently Hachiko realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived there.Every day at Shibuya station to wait for its owner to return from work, just as he always did. He looked for the figure of his owner among the passengers, leaving only when the pains of hunger forced him. And he did it day after day, year after year, among the hurried passengers. These began then began to bring snacks and food to ease their vigil. In 1929, Hachiko contracted a severe case of scabies, which almost killed him. Due to the years spent on the streets, he was thin and with wounds from fighting with other dogs. One of his ears was no longer raised. Besides, he was already looking miserable, no longer looking like the proud, strong creature he once was. Then, one of Ueno's faithful students saw the dog at the station and followed him to the Kobayashi residence, where he learned the story of Hachiko's life. Coincidentally the student was a researcher of the Akita breed, and shortly after his encounter with the dog, he published a census of Akitas in Japan. At the time there were only 30 purebred Akitas remaining in the country, including Hachiko from Shibuya station. Then Professor Ueno's former student returned frequently to visit the dog and for many years published several articles on Hachiko's remarkable loyalty.research his story people, you will cry with emotion😭😭😭
